The Raider defies traditional presumptions about what an ultralight tent can be. Traditionally, double wall tents are heavier. Traditionally, ultralight tents are not durable. The Raider is not traditional. It has everything we wanted in a tent for ultralight backpacking, military operations, and disaster prep: double wall design, competitive weight, small packed size, mil spec toughness, and simple, intuitive setup. The single aluminum head pole and single aluminum foot pole keep weight down without sacrificing strength or head space. The Raider is surprisingly roomy for its category at 24” tall at it’s peak. This shelter is a leap forward in the category of tough, reliable shelters.
